API key pricing breakdown

For those who prefer to use their own API key:

It's about $0.0005 USD for summarizing a 1000-word article.
You need to summarize ~20 articles of that size to pay 1 cent.

Example costs (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini)

  • $0.00015 per 1,000 input tokens (what you send)
  • $0.0006 per 1,000 output tokens (what you receive)
  • 1,000 tokens ≈ 750 words

For a 1000-word article: ~$0.0005 total. Costs may vary with Anthropic or other providers.
